Power/Knowledge

Update! Our movement is quickly picking up momentum!
Throughout our Bronx-based arts academy, we are aligning our classrooms to make change. This week we carry the following sentiment from radical educator Paulo Freire:


"Washing one's hands of the conflict
between the powerful and the powerless
means to side with the powerful,
not to be neutral."

Getting Green

For the next few months, this page will serve as headquarters for the creation of a "Schoolwide Environmental Justice Project" at Fordham High School for the Arts. Our goal is as follows:

To infuse global perspectives into our curriculum design to promote:
